Modern Essence meets glamorous disco wedding inspiration content day in Oakland, Maine. Sapphire Stars Event Design teamed up to bring you all this amazing modern and untraditional wedding inspiration content day at the gorgeous Maine Enchanted Gables venue.

We created brilliant pops of pinks, terracotta orange, greens and neutrals: capturing the 70s vibes and highlighting the summery vibe. Floral elements were textural and wild. Design elements were modern paired with vintage accents. Shimmering disco balls filled the venue along with the gorgeous chandeliers hanging over the venue.

Kayla and Anastasia have been dreaming of doing this modern disco-inspired content day for a long time. We love to incorporate fun details and themes to the traditional wedding feel. Disco balls were everywhere including a disco ball centerpiece filled with fresh flowers creating the perfect party atmosphere.

For the tablescape, it was all about combining modern and boho and layering those pretty pink and terracotta orange hues...with a gorgeous floral piece by egrace design and amazing handmade candles by Souther Co. The stationary was stunning on the table with gorgeous colors tied up with precious dried flower accents and macrame by Souther Co.

We were so lucky to have TWO amazing cakes for this shoot by Middle Sisters bakery. The modern boho cake incorporated the traditional wedding white with the terra-cotta orange in the center . A Handmade macrame cake piece tied in the whole theme by Souther Co. The disco cake was a gorgeous pink matching one of the disco queens amazing boots. The cake had mini disco balls on it with some added fringe details which added a playful touch.

It was such a privilege for us to bring this vision to life alongside of the most creative models and vendors. We shot on a gorgeous summer day in June at Maine Enchanted Gables. The Barn at Enchanted Gables is 8,000 square feet that has a patio area, can accommodate 200 people, has a gorgeous bridal suite and beautiful fields for photos. The entire day we danced to disco music and let the wind take the gorgeous drapes in the barn doors to create a magical backdrop for photos.
