A Classic Holiday at Wolf & Harp

This Holiday content day at Wolf and Harp Wedding Venue in Norway, Maine captures some stunningly perfect moments of winter, warmth, and romance. We wanted to incorporate Christmas and New Years in this shoot and combine fun and romance. We fell in love with the modern, luxe and classical venue displaying stunning views of a backyard ceremony site covered in beautiful new snow covering. ALL of our winter wonderland dreams came true with this heartwarming Christmas elopement inspiration styled shoot.

THE VENUE: Wolf and Harp- Norway, Maine

We know it is hard to find a venue that has everything. BUT, this venue has it all! Wolf and Harp has gorgeous outdoor areas to marry or host some of the day’s events. There’s a beautiful wooden arch in the backyard that shows off the gorgeous maine woods behind in the background. The venue has a whole modern and classic feel through- out. The indoor interiors are as beautiful as the views from the windows. The Bridal suite is stunning with a huge bathroom and a full room for getting ready with full length mirrors that are touch screen. A rare all-round stunning venue.

TABLE STYLING & INDOOR WEDDING

We set the table up in the dining area. This area is small and perfect for intimate celebrations. In this room we set up the head table with the gorgeous fireplace and mantle in the background. It was the perfect holiday feel. The lighting was stunning and the table was flowered up by Callie’s Flower Shop. We added pops or gold with the plates and pine cone place settings. A perfect touch with place cards beautifully done by love note 207. Glasses are always a great way to add some colour without it being overpowering. We use vintage amber colored glass- everyone lives a fancy glass! We also had the indoor wedding couple featured at the head table with the gorgeous fire place in the background. The couple also was able to cut the cake and a share that special moment. Alyssa was featured in a stunning gown by Boho Wedding Dresses. They posed in front of the beautiful Christmas tree for all the classic vibes.

CAKE AREA STYLING

The other area we wanted to make a feature was the cake area. We always love to keep the cake area simple and elegant to feature the highlight of this are- the cake . Maine Cake by Design made them most stunning traditional white cake with a pearl outline. It was the perfect combination of elegant , classic and gave all those holiday vibes.

OUTDOOR WINTER WEDDING

Another amazing part of this day was the access to the outdoors. We got the bride in her winter shawl and they spent a couple of hours together and we got some amazing shots. Candy featured the perfect gown for this winter wedding in the snow, featuring an enchanting bouquet with a deep red and forest green color scheme classic Christmas colors by Callie’s Flower Shop! We cannot forget the perfect red lip to match! The fresh new covering of snow added the perfect touch to this set .

CLASSIC ENGAGEMENT

We wanted to focus a whole set on engagements and capturing that special moment. Around the holidays, many people become engaged and we wanted to highlight that. The couple was so sweet and the red sparkle gown was the perfect pop of color and holiday.

NEW YEARS BATHROOM PARTY

This entire set was fun and different from anything we have done before. We didn’t want to forget how important New Years is and we wanted to focus on the relaxed and fun part of this celebration. The set was filled with disco balls, fun glasses, fancy outfits , a vintage claw foot bath tub, balloons and confetti.
