Grandparents 58th Wedding Anniversary Styled Shoot

Harry + Rose’s love story began over 58 years ago when they said “ I DO”. It’s a story of commitment, hard work, and consistent support through their lifetime of love. They have given their entire family so much without ever asking for anything in return from anyone. This 58th Anniversary gift was something they were never able to have as we learned that they only have one photo from their actual wedding.

Kayla Capponi, their granddaughter arranged for her grandparents to have the wedding shoot they never got 58 years ago. She surprised them with beautiful cross + rose necklaces from Creaser’s Jewelers along with the whole venue set up and decorated for the fun filled evening.

Traditionally, a couple’s 58th wedding anniversary is their “bronze” anniversary. Kayla Capponi, though, decided to give her grandparents something else that would last forever for their 58th Anniversary. Anastasia Creaser, a professional wedding photographer, helped Kayla arrange a elegant boho photoshoot for these two amazing people.

Together, Kayla and Anastasia went the further step of setting up Rose with a new gown hand sewn by Time Trove Modiste, professional makeup by Amanda Hope Makeup, gorgeous cake by XO Bakery, engraved wedding song sign by Cove Mill Design, head table& decor by Mainley Events, stationery by BB Calligraphy, catering by Gatch’s Food & Spirits, venue by The Farm at Worthley Pond and styling and floral arrangements for the shoot by Fleur De Lis Floral Design, who recreated their original florals from their wedding day, all courtesy of their network of professional friends.

We began the day with Rose getting make up done by Amanda. She was in love with her fake eyelashes that Amanda put on and she couldn’t stop showing everyone when they arrived! Harry watched Rose and kept saying how beautiful she was no matter what!

Anastasia shot the couple at The Farm at Worthley Pond which encapsulated the true meaning of family and gathering. The venue is a renovated farmhouse that can sleep 25, a beautiful rustic barn, private and direct access to the beach/pond, 5 acres of grounds and multiple family gathering spaces. The setting made for a perfect romantic boho shoot.

Harry and Rose then changed into matching shirts that said “ together since 1963” while the whole family enjoyed a delicious spaghetti meal in the barn together, followed by Harry+ Rose dancing to their wedding song Unchained Melody by the righteous brothers, slicing the beautifully cake and then spending the rest of the evening playing lawn games, pool in the game room, taking a dip in the hot tub and watching the sunset on the beach.

The couple is still very much in love, as it radiates in the photoshoot. It's incredibly rare to find a love like Rose + Harry’s, also known as Mom+ Dad, Gram+ Pepe and Gigi+ Pepe. Married 58 years, they certainly know a thing or two about love and marriage. We couldn’t be more honored to share their sweet love story and share this special day with them and their family.

Thank you to all these amazing people who made this beautiful day happen!
